We’re building a way for farmers and agricultural trade to find each other.

What we’re building

We’re building a shared view of agricultural supply: what is being grown, where it is located and the yield farmers expect. Through planned Android and iOS apps, Zarai Munafa will help farmers present their crops and help buyers discover potential sources.

Geotagged crop profiles

Farmers will be able to pin their crops on a map, add supporting land records and share expected yields. Each profile will bring crop and land information together, giving buyers a clearer starting point for understanding origin and anticipated supply. Expected yields will be estimates supplied by farmers.

A clearer view of supply

Interactive maps will help traders and distributors explore crop profiles by location and identify farmers whose expected production may match their needs. Importers and exporters can use the same information as a starting point for finding potential suppliers and discussing supply requirements.

Direct connections with farmers

Interested buyers will be able to reach the farmers behind relevant crop profiles through the platform. The aim is to give both sides a clearer basis for discussing expected quantities, buyer requirements and sourcing opportunities.

Closing the information gap in agriculture.

Across Punjab and Pakistan’s wider agricultural market, crop information is often scattered across local contacts, personal networks and disconnected channels. Farmers can struggle to reach suitable buyers, while buyers may have limited visibility into where crops are grown and what supply is expected.

That fragmentation can leave farmers dependent on a narrow set of market connections and several layers of intermediaries. Buyers, in turn, may struggle to find producers beyond the networks they already know.

Zarai Munafa is being built to make these connections more transparent. By bringing crop details, farm locations, expected yields and supporting land records into one place, we aim to give farmers a clearer route to market and buyers a clearer view of potential supply.
